Yoga Therapy

Personalised care, grounded in science and tradition.

Yoga Therapy at Yoga Aotearoa bridges the ancient wisdom of Yoga with modern therapeutic understanding to support healing, balance and long-term wellbeing.

Each session is tailored to the individual; addressing specific health concerns such as stress, anxiety, burnout, chronic pain, sleep challenges, respiratory issues, or rehabilitation from injury.

Our Yoga Therapists are trained to work collaboratively with healthcare providers, ensuring a safe, evidence-informed approach that complements medical care.

Whether referred by a doctor, allied health practitioner, or self-directed, clients receive a one-on-one experience designed to meet them exactly where they are — physically, mentally, and emotionally.

Our Approach

At Yoga Aotearoa, we honour yoga as a holistic system of health; one that recognises the deep interconnection between body, mind, breath, and consciousness.

Our therapeutic work draws upon both the classical teachings of Yoga and contemporary research in psychology, physiology and nervous system regulation.

Each session is a co-creative process; empowering clients with practical tools for self-awareness, resilience, and sustainable wellbeing.

Yoga Therapy is not about striving for postures, but about cultivating presence, balance, and inner harmony.

We believe healing happens through awareness, compassion, and consistency — one breath at a time.
